The good thing about forecasts is sometimes they're wrong. Let's hope that later today you look at this blog and laugh at how wrong it is, because if it's correct, we're about to be iced under all over again.

The National Weather Service forecast for today calls for a 60% chance of more "wintery mix". That translates to ice and a fair amount of it. Tonight we're looking at an 80% chance of that "wintery mix" continuing and tomorrow we have an 80% chance of out and out snow.  Ice accumulations for tonight and tomorrow are expected to be about .1 of an inch, which is more than enough to make driving a nightmare.  Between tonight and tomorrow morning we could see between two and four inches of snow.

The high today is expected to hit 30 and we've probably already hit that. If there is a bright spot in any of this, it's that we're supposed to hit 41 tomorrow, but then again if all that ice and snow hits it could hold temperatures down.

The last blast of ice resulted in over 150 car accidents. Let's try to keep you safe.  Keep off the streets if you can, but check out this video if you can't.
