A car crash in Lubbock claimed two lives Monday morning (Oct. 26).

According to KAMC, the accident occurred at the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Upland. A red pick-up truck reportedly collided with a white car after that car failed to yield the right of way.

Two passengers in the car that was hit were killed in the crash. The driver of the car, identified as Freddie Reyna (29) was taken to UMC with serious injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck, Felipe Salinas-Valenzuela (42) suffered moderate injuries and was transported to UMC.

Lubbock Police Department has released the names of the two people who died in the crash: Dustin Manlove (34) and Robert Tudor (32).
