Lubbock Police are searching for the suspect involved in an overnight robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store.

The robbery occurred around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, at the 7-Eleven off 50th St. and University Avenue.

Police say one man armed with a gun demanded money and cigarettes from the cashier before exiting the store and heading north on University.

The suspect is described as a short Hispanic male wearing coveralls, a blue hooded sweatshirt and a mask.
