It's a mystery how the Australian Shepherd made it from Houston to a Humane Society in Florida.

The report from KVUE says Bell, the 11-month-old pup from North of Houston went missing last week. Her owner Matt Turner put out pictures in the neighborhood, used social media and searched everywhere for her.

Then, Turner got a phone call from the Clay Humane Society in Orange Park, Florida.

Bell had been brought in as a stray and the microchip led them back to her owner.

The report says Turner didn't believe them at first, but they said they were 100 percent sure. He told reporters he couldn't figure out how she got that far away in less than a week.

Turner flew in to Florida to be reunited with Bell this week and was happy to have her back.

The puppy was found in good condition, too. The staff thinks she had gotten a ride along her journey.
