Crank up the oven and get out your pots and pans -- Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman is returning to television for her cooking show, 'Kimberly's Simply Southern.'

Great American Country recently announced that the scrumptious show has been renewed for a third season with 13 new episodes that will begin airing in 2014.

This news couldn't be more exciting for the talented LBT songstress who has honed her culinary skills. She says, "This series is a childhood dream of mine and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to get to share all the fun things I learn out there in my travels.”

Adds Schlapman, “I love sharing my passion for cooking and hunting down treasures across the country with Great American Country’s viewers."

During the new season, viewers will get a front-row seat for her quest to find the best local foods while on tour and then trying to re-create them while at home in Music City, giving then some down-home southern flair. The show has received positive feedback, and following her second season, Schlapman was nominated for a Taste Award for Best Home Chef in a Series.

Singing, cooking, and starring in her own television show -- is there anything the LBT singer can't do?
