Leavin’ The Pieces On A One Hit Wonder Wednesday [VIDEO]

On this edition of "one hit wonder Wednesday" is a duo in which both singers excelled on the pop side of music before trying the country waters. When they did, their success was immediate.

Michelle Branch and her friend and backup singer, Jessica Harp, teamed together and formed "The Wreckers".

Branch and Harp released a country album in 2006 called "Stand Still, Look Pretty". The single released off the album was a song called "Leave the Pieces".

That song went straight to Number One on the country charts, and becuase of it's success, the album went gold.

It would be the only hit song "The Wreckers" would have. The next year, both Branch and Harp went their seperate ways.
