The one and only Kyle Park performed his tremendous new single live in studio before his show with Randall King Friday night at Charley B's.

This longstanding Texas Country artist performed a powerful song from his new 6th studio album, Don't Forget Where You Come From. He told us that the song "Rio" is currently doing well and he just finished the official video for it as well. He shared the story of how the song came about.

He said it felt good to write a song about a horse, and "Rio" is based on a true story -- a hunting trip he took with his brother a few years back. There was a powerful lesson learned during the trip, he explained to us.

"It's about trusting the horse in the darkness, and times where you can't see and letting go of the reins," he said. "But it's also about, you know, metaphorically, letting go of the reins of life and trusting in God in the darkness in times where you can't see, just know his path is the right one."

Park shared some big news with us as well, and we'll bring you that exciting story and more of the interview coming up soon on air and on our website.

It was really great having him in studio with Randall King as they're out on their Dancin' and Drinking Tour. We can't thank y'all enough for stopping by, sharing your story and your music. You're incredible talents and we wish you all the very best success!

Don't miss an opportunity to check out their music, you'll be really glad you did!
