There’s been a lot of speculation about Kristen Bell hosting the 2012 CMT Music Awards because, after all, she’s a whole lotta Hollywood and just not very much country. But the adorable blonde host started out the night by flexing her country music knowledge muscles, when she pointed out Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker and Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts. Later on, she proved that she can sing country music, too, when she sang her very own verse to Pistol Annies‘ ‘Hell on Heels.’

The three bombshell country femmes didn’t look too amused when Bell started belting out a new verse to their hit song. Who can blame them? Bell kicked it off with, “I’ve got Pistol Annie tattooed on my fanny.

But nobody can stay mad at the sweet comedienne. By the end of her short verse, Lambert was laughing and all three of the Annies were applauding.

“I think I kinda nailed it,” Bell said. “Miranda, you can just call me or text me to let me know I’m in the band, and I’ll just stop by.” We’re pretty sure that Kristen Bell isn’t going to become the fourth Pistol Annie, but she has a pretty great singing voice!
