Country has been borrowing from genres such as R&B and hip-hop lately. Now it seems like they're looking to country to return the favor.

No, you don't have to get your hearing checked. That is a banjo on R&B singer Jason Derulo's new song, "Broke," and none other than Keith Urban is responsible for playing it. The cross-genre collaboration continues with Stevie Wonder also contributing to the song by playing the harmonica.

The toe-tapping anthem blends country flavor into hip-hop to deliver the message: "More money, more problems / So I'd rather be broke." The track is a part of the project Derulo plans to deliver on June 2 titled Everything is 4.

Derulo is no stranger to the country music world, so this partnership shouldn't come as that big of a surprise. The singer made a guest appearance on stage with Florida Georgia Line last year at the CMT Music Awards, so hopefully the R&B community will welcome this collaboration.

Urban has been busy lately, not only appearing on this cut, but also releasing a video that he specially dedicated to fans for the track "Come Back to Me," from his 2013 album, Fuse. He is slated to perform at the upcoming 2015 Taste of Country Music Festival as well as Country Jam, which both happen in June.
