The Lubbock Police Department has arrested a local man for allegedly kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and keeping her tied up, naked and drugged, inside his home for nearly two days.

According to EverythingLubbock.com, police arrested 34-year-old Juan Salas (pictured) Tuesday for Aggravated Kidnapping With Intent to Terrorize. The arrest warrant for Salas reveals he had told the woman he planned to kill her and make it look like a suicide. To that end, he had cut her legs with a knife.

Salas' ex-girlfriend, whose name is being withheld, said she woke up in his home, naked and tied up, after an altercation with him at a local nightclub Friday night.

The arrest warrant says that the victim woke up inside Salas' home on 54th Street in Lubbock. She was tied up with wire and yellow caution tape. Her clothes were removed at some point, and she told police Salas had drugged her.

At one point, Salas apparently untied her because his daughter at home. Salas allegedly threatened to kill her if she told his daughter what was happening.

According to the arrest warrant, Salas said he "would kill her if she said anything while [his] daughter was there." Later, Salas tied her up again and forced her to swallow a pill that made her lose consciousness.

The woman was able to escape the home Sunday and find help from a neighbor, she told police.

Juan Salas is currently being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center. His bail was set at $250,000.
