At a press conference this week, Texas Tech Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury addressed the notable absence of player Josh Outlaw.

"Josh Outlaw is no longer a member of this team," Kingsbury said when asked about Outlaw's status on the team.

Kingsbury was pressed on the matter and asked if he was dismissed or quit. "He's just no longer a part of this team and that's how we are going to leave it," Kingsbury tersely replied.

There has been no other information released by the football program or university regarding Outlaw's status as a Texas Tech Red Raider.

This news comes on the heals of Reginald Davis being suspended for the first half of the SHSU game and Pete Robertson's mysterious suspension.

Kingsbury addressed the possibility of Robertson playing against UTEP, saying that the situation is still being "evaluated."
