Jon Langston wasted no time hitting his stride when he took the stage by storm Saturday night at Wild West here in Lubbock.
A strong talent with a deep, edgy voice, Langston had a strong rock vibe to blend with his country roots. He played many of his own songs and a few covers that were a big hit with the crowd.
His band was absolutely terrific, every member a solid talent. They were bringing it and the crowd absolutely loved it.
Langston is originally from Loganville, Georgia. His college football career was sidelined due to injury, and his singing career launched just a few short years ago when he was the opening act for Chase Rice. He's seen some solid success with his EPs. Most recently, his self-titled EP released December 2015, peaking at no. 25 on the U.S. Billboard Country Album Charts.
According to key sources, he is excited to be touring and sharing his music with our South Plains region. He's looking forward to finding a great audience here who will connect with his music.
