Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has authored a book about something that's changed her life. In her book, "I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down", she reveals how her weight loss determined how she selected certain movie roles. She tells Us Magazine that she was offers the role that Gabourey Sidibe did in "Precious", but turned it down because she didn't want to gain weight for the part. "I had gained weight with Effie in 'Dreamgirls'....and wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight." So, she instead played a charmingly cute role in "Sex and the City" movie, and went on to connect with Weight Watchers and lose a total of 80 pounds! She has since become Weight Watchers' spokesperson. Looking a lot skinnier and no doubt feel fabulous with the weight loss, Jennifer Hudson shares her re-birth in her new book out on store shelves January 10th.
