Jason Aldean's latest single, "Dirt Road Anthem," is getting a lot of attention. In fact at it's #1 position on the charts. He says he gets more from this song than any other he does, and it's because it's a good song.

He tells one website "To say it's a little different is probably a little bit of an understatement...My thing has always been good songs are good songs."

When asked about the success of the country rap song he adds, "I heard somebody, one of the rappers, say one time that the first rap song ever was 'Devil Went Down to Georgia' by Charlie Daniels."

The song, by the way, is written by Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford, the latter performing the number one tune with Aldean. Check it out. What do you think?
