Jakeem Grant had already set the all-time receiving yards but he used his final game to break the Texas Tech all-time all-purpose yardage record previously held by Byron Hanspard.

Grant set the Texas Tech single-season school record for all-purpose yards as he totaled 186 in the loss. His 2,353 all-purpose yards this season breaks the previous mark held by Byron Hanspard (2,276 yards in 1996). Grant is also the Texas Tech career receiving yards leader with 3,289 in his four seasons.

Jakeem wasn't done breaking Texas Tech records, he also set the touchdown receptions in a bowl game with 3 against LSU. He snapped the previous Texas Tech bowl record of two receiving touchdowns that had been accomplished seven times previously, most recently by Grant in the 2013 Holiday Bowl.

Grant breaking his own records is a poetic end to a great career.
Grant ends his Texas Tech career with 10 receiving touchdowns this season, the most in his career, and 27 for his career. His 26 touchdown receptions rank fifth all-time in the Texas Tech record book.

A great ending for a great Red Raider.

Raider. Power.
