Perhaps Peyton Manning should start up a side career as a country singer. He recently sang Johnny Cash's 'Folsom Prison Blues' with country star Jake Owen, and he impressed more than a few people.

Owen was performing at the Celebration of Caring Gala in Indianapolis on Saturday (April 26), which Manning and his wife Ashley are co-chairs of, benefiting the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent.

The Denver Broncos quarterback joined Owen onstage for a rendition of Cash's hit. Owen was casually dressed, in a t-shirt, while Manning sported a full suit. But, the fancy attire didn't stop him from really honing into his inner country star, hitting the low notes and looking surprisingly comfortable behind the microphone. The 'Beachin'' hitmaker accompanied Manning on the acoustic guitar, clearly enjoying the duet.

This isn't the first time the football star has showed off his country music skills -- or his love for Cash. He paired up with Luke Bryan last year, singing 'Folsom Prison Blues.'

Owen is expected to hit the stage this summer for the 2014 Watershed Festival, featuring Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, and Cassadee Pope, among other country favorites.
