It’s A Wild One On First Hit Monday With Faith Hill [VIDEO]
On this first hit Monday, Faith Hill moved to Nashville at the age of 19 and after being turned down as a back-up singer for Reba, and work for McDonald’s at one time, she found work as a secretary for a music publishing company
The head of the company encouraged Hill to sing on demos for the firm and she hooked up with singer/songwriter Gary Burr. They were performing at a club in Nashville when a Warner Bros. record executive heard her and signed her to a deal.
Her first album “Take Me As I Am” came out in 1993 and the first single “Wild One” went straight to Number One and stayed there for four weeks.
This would start an amazing career for Hill, who has become one of the biggest female country stars in the 90′s and 2000′s.
She recently debut her now song “Come Home” on the CMA Awards show. It was the first time in five years.
