The Red Raider baseball team shutout the Nebraska Cornhuskers 3 to 0 Sunday at Dan Law Field. Tech's Robbie Kilcrease kept the Husker's from crossing the plate and was replace by David Piaz who came on in the 7th and finished the job. Kilcrease scattered 5 hits, struck out 3 and walked 2.
Tech, after losing the opening game on Friday 15 to 5, came back on Saturday and won 10 to 8, wins the series 2 games to 1.
The Red Raiders are now 17 and 8 overall and 4 and 2 in the Big 12. They are currently tied with Texas in 2nd place in the conference.
Tech's next home series will be April 8th through the 10th when they host Texas A&M at Dan Law. The Aggies are currently atop the Big 12 at 5 and 1, overall they are 19 and 5.
