Nothing can prepare anyone for a tragedy such as the shooting in Newtown, CT. But the one thing we can do is face times like these TOGETHER and help lift up those grieving and share the pain for those who are lost.

We pause to take a moment to remember, not the man who caused all of this pain, but the children and the adults who lost their lives. Our prayers and hearts go out to them and their families as they mourn right now.

I want to leave you with a bit of scripture:

"At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, 'Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?' Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, unless you become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 'Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me'." (Matt. 18:1-5)

Children are everyone's responsibility, so if you can do anything to help, please do. In such a dark and devastating time, especially when the season is supposed to be merry and bright, it would greatly appreciated.

God Bless Newtown, CT. I pray this never has to happen to anyone else, again.
