New Year's Eve is around the corner and while you may have an adult beverage or two, you may be concerned about the amount of calories in your favorite drink.

Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets stopped by this week to give a few great tips on how to make those adult beverages a bit healthier.

When it comes to beer, Duby suggested trying out a "Light" beer including Shiner Light. Duby also suggested mixing sparkling water with wine. This will cut calories and add some bubbles to your wine. Duby also suggested adding elderberry syrup to sparkling wine. Elderberry can help cut down on the flu which is a good thing this time of year.

Watch the video above for more great tips on how to enjoy some healthier adult beverages this New Year's Eve.
