How To Drop Of Your Child At School
Each morning that I drop my children off at school and do not end up in handcuffs in the back of a cop car is a successful morning.
The same can be said with picking my children up from school in the afternoon.
Why? Because of THIS…
Yes – this is a parent that decided it was OK to drop their child off in the middle of the road. Never mind the fact that it’s rude to the LINE OF CARS BEHIND this parent – but it is dangerous as well!
Seriously people – are you that lazy that you cannot pull over to the curb? I mean if you look at this picture, you can CLEARLY see that there are no cars in the way of this parent pulling over – you can also see that the curb isn’t TOO far away.
But NOOOOOOOOO…parents decide that it is totally ok to sit in the middle of the road, blocking traffic while their child not only slowly makes their way out of the car – but THEN decides to have a little “chit – chat” with Mom about something that I am fairly certain could have been discussed on the way to school! And if this isn’t bad enough – I (along with the line of cars that has developed behind me) must also sit there and wait for the child to SLOWLY walk across the street!
So – as you can see, while waiting for the car to drop off the child, have a chit chat with the child through the window and then watching the child slowly move across the street – I had plenty of time to get out of MY car, walk up to THIS car and punch the parent in the nose. I’m NOT a violent person – but again I say, each day I drop off or pick up my children from school without ending up in handcuffs in the back of a cop car is a GOOD DAY!
People – I beg you…
PULL YOUR CAR OVER TO THE CURB AND OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD BEFORE DROPPING OFF OR PICKING UP YOUR CHILD FROM SCHOOL!
<Sigh> Rant Over.
