Three defendants, all of Lubbock, accepted plea agreements in federal court this week related to trafficking methamphetamine.

28 year-old Alejandro Garcia-Izazaga, 48 year-old Patricia Hernandez-Salas, and 49 year-old Anthony Wayne Reiley all face life in prison. Federal agents knew about the meth trafficking operation in March and they intercepted communications between Garcia-Izazaga and Reiley. Both were under surveillance in July when they took a trip to Austin. They were pulled over for speeding near Slaton and a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy found nearly 3,000 grams of meth.

If a judge approves the plea agreements, Garcia-Izazaga and Reiley face no less than 10 years, and up to life in federal prison. Hernandez-Salas faces between 5 and 40 years.
