Texas Governor Greg Abbott will visit Lubbock, and West Texas, next week to sign copies of his book, Broken But Unbowed: The Fight to Fix a Broken America.

The book recounts Abbott’s personal struggle through a tragic accident that left him in a wheelchair and his battles in the court of law fighting for Texas, and Texans' rights, as the longest serving Attorney General.

On Monday, May 23, Abbott will be at Hastings locations in Abilene, at 11 a.m., and in San Angelo, at 2:30 p.m. Then on Tuesday, May 24, Abbott will be in Amarillo at the Barnes & Noble at 11 a.m, here in Lubbock at Hastings at 82nd & Slide at 3 p.m. and finally in Midland at Hastings at 7 p.m.

One hundred percent of net proceeds from Broken But Unbowed will be donated to Operation FINALLY HOME, a Texas-based non-profit that provides custom-built, mortgage-free homes to veterans and their families.
