The 14th annual Wine and Clay Festival is taking place this weekend at the Llano Estacado Winery. I guess you could say it's features two forms of art, grapes to wine and clay to pieces of art.

It's a great way to spend an afternoon, sipping on a glass of wine, having a bite to eat and listening to some excellent music from Kenny Maines and some very good local musicians.

Walking around the festival I was just amazed at the talent that some people have. There were live demonstrations too. One artist took a block of clay, put it on a spinning wheel, added some water and transformed it into a beautiful piece of art.

One exhibit I thought was cool had two thin glasses that are used for champagne. The top was made of glass and the bottom was made of clay. They were awesome.
Plus there is some beautiful glass and metal art as well.

If you get a chance check it out. As the organizers say the festival features to forms of earth, grapes to wine and clay to art.
