If you've been out saving your money on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and have been able to save big on your Christmas gifts, why not use some of the money you saved to give back?

There are days for celebrating and days for saving money and November 28th is the national day to give back, on Giving Tuesday. You can view the tremendous list of non-profit organizations in need at givingtuesdaylbk.org.

There are many, many people in need this holiday season, and every little bit donated can make a big difference.

#GivingTuesday's mission statement is:

Lubbock nonprofit Alström Angels, in partnership with The Community Foundation of West Texas, brought the #GivingTuesday movement to the South Plains in 2016 as a community transformation project to benefit all charities serving Lubbock and West Texas citizens. #GivingTuesdayLBK is a day dedicated to bringing West Texas together to celebrate generosity and to make giving history for local charities. Let's come together to GIVE BIG and help all nonprofits do even more good in our community!

Help those less fortunate right here in Lubbock this holiday season. See the tremendous list of non-profits you can link to and donate to through their website.
