It is currently Spring across the U.S. but everyone should be getting ready for a big Blizzard hitting in April. Don't worry we are not talking about the weather blizzard but the beloved treat Blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen is getting ready for the Summer by offering their classic cold treat that defies gravity for just 85 cents in April. The reason for this is that Dairy Queen is celebrating the year the Blizzard was released to the public, which was in 1985. Along with some deliciously cold treats for a steal there are some Blizzard flavors that are returning as well as a few new flavors that you will not want to miss.

Returning to the menu are the flavors Cotton Candy and Choco Dipped Strawberry Blizzards as well as the featured Blizzard of the Month for April. That flavor being a twist on a classic summer camp favorite, the S'mores Blizzard which encapsulates the taste of Summer.

New to the Dairy Queen Blizzard lineup is the Oreo Brookie (brownie and cookie) Blizzard which is a new take on the classic cookies and cream frozen treat. The other newest Blizzard is the Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Blizzard which will have chunks of chocolate and peanut butter toppings, and of course the popular puppy chow mix.

The 85 cent Blizzards will only be available for a limited time starting April 10 - 23 and you will have to download the Dairy Queen mobile app to be able to enjoy those Blizzards.
