Those who doubted the success of Garth Brooks' grand re-entrance into country music are kicking themselves as they learn the news that the legend has set another record.

Brooks topped his own record for most tickets sold in a single U.S. city with his 2014 Minneapolis return, and tickets are still selling! The 'Friends in Low Places' superstar will play a whopping 11 shows at the Target Center come November. Thus far, Brooks has sold 188,000 seats, breaking his previous record held in Chicago. It was there 180,000 fans bought tickets to see 11 shows at the Allstate Arena.

Prior to the Chicago date, Brooks sold a record-breaking 162,833 tickets for his Minneapolis Target Center shows in 1998. At the time, he played nine concerts, which proves that the new decade brings a bigger and better Brooks.

It was recently announced that Brooks would be returning to North Carolina for the first time in over 16 years. He's announced two upcoming shows (so far) in Greensboro next month. On Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, he'll be bringing his comeback tour to the area with wife Trisha Yearwood. It goes without saying that the tickets will sell fast.

Brooks will release a new studio album called 'Man Against Machine' on Nov. 11. Learn more about the record here.
