Former First Lady of Lubbock Passes Away

Family and friends are mourning the loss of Former First Lady Jayne Ann Miller.

Lubbock's former First Lady, Jayne Ann Miller, passed away after battling cancer.She is the wife of Lubbock's former Mayor David Miller.

Friends and family said their goodbyes on Saturday. The list of which is extensive as Mrs. Miller was involved and cared for so many as she was an active member of several groups in Lubbock.

Mrs. Miller was a Lubbock Symphony Orchestra Guild member and was involved in other organizations such as the Louise Underwood Center for the Arts, the UMC Foundation Board and Marian Moss Enterprises.

A memorial service is set for Tuesday, 4 PM in First Christian Church of Lubbock, 2323 Broadway.

Our hearts and prayers go out the her friends and family as they mourn the loss of such a wonderful person.
