Florida Georgia Line made one wounded veteran's daily life much easier with the gift of an all-terrain wheelchair. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley met with retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage, who was wounded in Afghanistan and lost his leg in 2010, at a recent concert, where they also shared their appreciation for his service to our country.

"I got an invitation from Independence Fund to go to the concert," Savage recalls to Fox News about the opportunity. "I thought I would just be attending a concert and then four days prior they contacted me and said, 'Hey, Florida Georgia Line wants to do a presentation with you and donate the chair directly to you at the concert.'"

"For the second time during our tour we were able to partner with @theindependencefundinc to provide an all-terrain wheelchair to a wounded veteran," FGL caption a photo with Savage on Instagram. "Truly blessed to be able to present a chair to retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage."

Savage, meanwhile, says it was an emotional meet-and-greet for him and the country duo.

"It was an emotional experience to have that type of opportunity to be able to participate in something of that nature," he notes. "To be able to represent my fellow amputees and fellow veterans and to be able to do that on national TV is such an honor to be able to do."

The Independence Fund's mission is to support our injured and wounded veterans with the tools to achieve their independence and freedoms that they have fought to preserve. For more, visit their website.
