Later this week, Fathom Events will present a special look at the historic Vatican for one night only.

The Vatican Museums 3D is a special up-close-and-personal tour of works in The Vatican shown in stunning 3D.

According to Fathom Events, a team of 40 professionals employed the same cutting-edge 3D cinematic techniques used by filmmakers in many of Hollywood’s most technologically advanced movies to capture this mega production.  Paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh along with sculptures by Michelangelo as well as many other works will be shown.

In addition to the feature film, theatergoers will be treated to an exclusive 22 minutes of insightful “behind the scenes” extra features as The Vatican Museums’ Director, Professor Antonio Paolucci and the film’s director, Marco Pianigiani, recall both the challenges and the triumphs involved in the making of this masterpiece about masterpieces.

News/Talk 790, KFYO will be giving away pairs of tickets to the Lubbock showing of The Vatican Museums 3D on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10 during the Chad Hasty Show (8:30a-11a).  The Lubbock showing of this nationwide event will take place Wednesday, December 10 at 7pm at Cinemark Movies 16 at 5721 58th Street
