The Taste of Country Christmas Tour kicked off in Lubbock, Texas Saturday night, and Dustin Lynch expertly walked the line between raucous and heartfelt. The country star amped up the beer-infused crowd with "She Cranks My Tractor" and soothed them with the powerful "Cowboys and Angels."

The singer's enthusiasm for the tour's big kickoff show was matched only by the audience's. He praised Texas between songs as the only place he tours where people start drinking early in the day and know how to party late into the night. The crowd replied with cheers and beers in hands, raised high.

At one point, Lynch and the crowd simultaneously chugged down their drinks. Looking out and noticing one guy with an unfinished beer, Lynch pointed him and urged him to kill the bottle. His fellow drinkers started a chant of 'chug, chug, chug!' as the concertgoer downed the beer.

Lynch and the crowd easily answered the question of whether there was a better place to kick off the 2014 Taste of Country Christmas Tour than right here in Lubbock, Texas. The answer? Nope!

The set culminated in Lynch performing "Where It's At," off his new album of the same name. But the show was far from over.

Lynch stuck around on stage for over an hour signing anything and everything the audience brought up: belts, t-shirts, boots, ticket stubs and even cigarette packages. What a performer!
