Drunk Texas Woman who Knocked Over Power Pole was Found Eating Tacos

A Houston woman drove into the power pole around 4:30 in the morning.

According to ABC 13 she then walked across the charged power lines to get some tacos at a restaurant across the street.

Crews on the scene told ABC 13 that the woman apparently fell asleep while driving and left the road striking the power pole and knocking it over.

That's when witnesses saw her walk through the downed power lines over to the restaurant. That's where medical services and police found her.

She was apparently intoxicated and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Power was out for some businesses and around 100 residents.
