A McIntosh County man was arrested at the Battle of Honey Springs with a sawed-off shotgun.

KOCO reports that Gary Alen Lane was arrested after he fired into a tent full of actors preparing for the reenactment. One of the actors was hit with a pellet, but didn't sustain any injuries.

According the report, Lane was found at his home near the battlefield. He was still holding the shotgun and at first refused to listen to deputies. He tried to run, but officers caught him after a short struggle.

Lane was arrested on complaints of reckless conduct with a firearm, assault and battery with a deadly weapon while under the influence of alcohol, malicious injury to property and resisting arrest.
