Dolly Parton has announced some of the performers and the details for her upcoming benefit concert to aid victims of the wildfires in and around Gatlinburg, Tenn. The superstar's Smoky Mountains Rise: A Benefit for the My People Fund event will feature an impressive list of her famous friends.

In addition to Parton herself, Smoky Mountains Rise will include Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers and Alison Krauss. It is set to take place on Dec. 13 and will broadcast live on Great American Country at 8PM ET. The show will also simulcast across multiple radio stations, including iHeart Media's digital and select on-air platforms, NASH Nights LIVE, TuneIn's Country Roads channel and others to be announced. More performers for the three-hour fundraiser will be revealed in the coming days.

The telethon will benefit the My People Fund, which Parton established in the wake of the deadly wildfires that swept the Great Smoky Mountains where she was raised. She has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to bringing economic growth to the area, providing jobs and tourism revenue with her signature theme park, Dollywood, as well as a number of other local attractions. The My People Fund will provide $1,000 per month for local families who lost their homes in the fire to be able to live while they try to recover from the tragedy. Viewers will be asked to call 1-866-CARE-MORE to donate to the My People Fund.

"My home in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee is some place special," Parton says in a press release. "Wildfires have affected many of the people -- my people -- who live in those beautiful mountains. We want to provide a hand up to those families who have lost everything in the fires. I know it has been a trying time for my people and this assistance will help get them back on their feet."

Renters and homeowners who lost their primary residence due to the wildfires in Sevier County will be eligible for assistance via the My People Fund. A pre-application is available at dollywoodfoundation.org, which is also the place to make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund. Those wishing to donate by mail should send their donation to My People Fund, c/o Dollywood Foundation, 111 Dollywood Lane, Pigeon Forge, Tenn., 37863.
