Dierks Bentley revealed the sex of his unborn third child during a fan club party at the CMA Music Festival last week. The 'Bourbon in Kentucky' singer wanted his most dedicated fans to be the first to know if the blossoming bundle will be a third girl, or his first son.

“You guys mean everything to us and that’s why we’re always trying to give you guys the fan club exclusive,” Bentley says in a video clip, which was played for fan club members at the event. “And for today for the Last Call Ball 9 we thought it would be kind of funny to give you the scoop on whether or not I’m having a boy or girl.”

After reading a few name suggestions -- like Dierks-Anne, Deacon Cash and Jack Daniels -- the singer finally spilled the beans for the crowd. “We’re having a boy! he said, smiling. "Just don’t tell anybody, alright?"

It was too early to know the sex when the singer first revealed wife Cassidy was expecting in late April. Typically, a couple can learn what they're having in week 17 or 18 of pregnancy, meaning the Bentleys should welcome their new addition this fall.

Bentley's ninth annual Last Call Ball took place on Sunday (June 9) at the Belcourt Theater in Nashville. Approximately 350 fans were in attendance to see him perform a full band acoustic set that included songs from October's forthcoming 'Riser' album.

"I wasn’t nervous last night at the stadium,” Bentley said, according to the Tennessean, referring to his set at the LP Field. “I’m nervous right now. You guys know me too well.”

The baby will join big sisters Evie (born in 2008) and Jordan (born in 2010). Dierks and Cassidy have been married since December 2005.
