The Damn Quails move into the Bear's Top Ten Texas/Red Dirt list. Be listening for "Fools Gold," a cohesive mixture of soul, blues, country, folk, and a tad bit of rock and roll that digests smoothly. A young band with old souls is another way of describing The Damn Quails, a band that is a combined effort of Gabriel Marshall and Byron White, both from the state of Oklahoma. Writing from the influences of Tom Skinner, Mike McClure and Gene Collier, both Byron and Gabriel began early on, getting their musical chops from hours on stage playing a bit of everything.
