Dachshund Steals Show at Wiener Dog Race in El Paso

One of the competitors led the players and it's owner on a chase around the field after the race.

According to KXAN, the race was being held at the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas, an affiliate of the San Diego Padres.

Wienerschnitzel is the official sponsor of the races, the fastest competitor won $500 in cash.

The race featured eight dachshunds but only three crossed the finish line and the one little stinker led everyone on a chase around the diamond.
