Abby Nicole, an aspiring country singer from Nebraska died early Sunday morning (July 23) after suffering injuries in an ATV accident.

1011 News reports that Nicole (real name Abby Ucker), a 25-year-old country singer from Norfolk, Neb., died after suffering injuries from an ATV accident on the racetrack at the Thayer Country Fairgrounds in Deshler during the wee hours of the morning on Sunday. She and her band Abby Nicole and County Road had performed at the fair on both Saturday (July 22) and Sunday. Nicole was planning a move to Nashville in August to pursue her dreams professionally.

"Just to immerse myself in that love of music and be around and write every day is kind of where I want to be. That’s what everyone says, you just have got to dive on in, and that’s what I’m going to do," she previously told News Channel Nebraska about her life-change.

Nicole's fans turned to social media in the wake of the tragedy, expressing their condolences on the singer's official Facebook page. "I was so fortunate to work with Abby Nicole & County Road, as they graced the stage several times, making an incredible impact on the community and always giving folks a reason to come have a great time," one colleague writes.

Chad Barnhill, a drummer who has performed with the late singer, penned a heartfelt post in her honor. "I Will Always Love You Abby. I promise to celebrate your Life with others. You touched so many lives. Especially mine," he shares.

Nicole had ventured to Music City in the spring of 2016, where she recorded her first single, "Cool," followed by a second single titled "Back When We Were Burning."
