Known as Whispering Bill, his soft approach has taken him a long way. Now the legendary Bill Anderson will be live at The Cactus Theater May 21st.

Bill Anderson has a remarkable 50 year career which has brought him more awards than just about anyone in the industry according to his website. With many millions of records sold, he's also hosted a television game show, starred in a hit network soap opera, and was the voice of a large national restaurant.

Some songs to his co-writing credit include Whiskey Lullaby for Brad Paisley and Allison Krauss and Give It Away for George Strait which earned him a Grammy nomination.

Some hits from his early years in Nashville include The Tips Of My Fingers, and Still which was a huge crossover country/pop hit.

He has written for superstar artists including Kitty Wells, Ray Price, Porter Wagoner, James Brown, Debbie Reynolds, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more.
