One of the true highlights of my trip to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis was 'Country Cares for St. Jude Kid's'. The concert was phenomenal to see! The line up on stage was awesome.

Against a backdrop of St.Jude Kid's featured pictures, Randy Owen (Alabama), was on stage first. He is a long time St. Jude ambassador and took the reins to host this part of the evening

He was joined on stage by John Oates (Hall & Oates), Charles Kelley (Lady Antebellum) and Darius Rucker (formerly Hootie & the Blowfish) who received the Randy Owen Angels Among Us Award that night for his work for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Kelly and Rucker were long time friends and joked and clowned around. (Charles repeatedly called him Hootie, even though he knew he didn't like to be called that!)There was great camaraderie on stage as they took turns performing and jamming together.

It was so meaningful to see their dedication to Country Cares for St. Jude Kid's message.
