Could ESPN’s Game Day Be Coming Back To Lubbock? [VIDEO]

texastech.com

November 1, 2008 ESPN’s College Gameday came to Lubbock for the first time. Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit set up shop on the Texas Tech campus before the Tech/ Texas Longhorn Game. The Longhorns were ranked #1, the Red Raiders were ranked #7.

Of course everyone knows what happened. with eight seconds left in the game, Tech quarterback Graham Harrell hits Michael Crabtree with pass, he breaks a tackle and goes into the end zone, and Tech wins 39 to 33.

Now Red Raider fans have the chance to get Gamday back to Lubbock. Fans can now vote through May 2nd. 120 schools are involved in this and fans can vote once per day. So vote now.

Remember the last time when Coach Bob Knight, then head basketball coach at Tech was on Gameday. He really wound up the crowd and Lee Corso scared the you know what out of Herbstreit. Check it out.
