There will be graduation ceremonies held for more than 1,400 Texas Tech University students this weekend. The events are set to start Saturday morning at the United Spirit Arena. At 9 a.m. the Colleges of Ag. Sciences and Natural Resources, Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Education, Grad School, Honors College Mass Communications and Visual and Performing Arts will hold their ceremony.

Then at 1:30 p.m., commencement exercises begin for the Ed Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, the Rawls College of Business, the College of Human Sciences, Graduate School and University College. Dr. Bernard Mittemeyer, former interim president of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, will be the speaker for both commencement ceremonies.
