Chris Stapleton took the stage during the Season 12 finale of The Voice on Tuesday night (May 23), performing a scorching rendition of his current single, "Either Way."

Stapleton took the stage armed with only an acoustic guitar, and that's all he needed, captivating the audience with the sheer power of his songcraft and electrifying vocal performance.

The country star has just released a critically acclaimed new album, From A Room: Volume 1, which he recorded at Nashville's legendary RCA Studio A. "Either Way" is the first single from that project.

Stapleton's music has received huge exposure The Voice this season, with Casi Joy performing "Parachute" as her final song before she was eliminated, while Jesse Larson sang his way into the finale with a scorching rendition of "Tennessee Whiskey" during an Instant Save performance. Larson squared off against  Aliyah Moulden and Lauren Duski from Team Blake in the finale of The Voice.

Stapleton will be on the road for much of 2017 on his All-American Road Show Tour, which launched in March and runs all the way through August before wrapping in Gilford, N.H.
