Texas Tech's 32-member cheerleading squad was named Best All-Around Collegiate Squad at the National Cheerleaders Association College Summer Camp on SMU campus in Dallas. In addition, eleven members were named as All-Americans. Raider Red, the Tech mascot, was honored as well, being selected as an All-American Mascot.
