The Salvation Army's Red Kettles will officially open for donations for the Christmas season today.at 1 p.m. at the Market Street United at 98th and Quaker. It's a tradition that dates back over a hundred years.
"Shoes for Orphan Souls", a project of Buckner International supplying shoes to millions of children in 74 countries around the world, has run short on their supply of shoes and need your help. In fact last spring the decrease forced delays of shipments. McDougal Companies in Lubbock has teamed with Buckner to boost the donations in Lubbock.
