Carrie Underwood's wrist has healed! An Instagram photo of her latest X-ray indicates she's all fixed up, thanks to a doctor, a "PT angel" and something that looks like a tiny rake.

Or it may be a six-string finger piano with a short arm attached? Actually, it kind of looks like a tiny robot hand.

It's not clear if Underwood needs to keep the apparatus, but per her original revealing of the broken wrist and surgery, she may. "All went well ... even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on, " she said in November, just days after taking a spill at home. In addition to the injured wrist Underwood also suffered some serious cuts to her head and face that required 40 to 50 stitches. She's been mostly quiet about the fall, aside from a post to fans on New Year's Eve that revealed she'd look different the next time she's on camera.

Upon learning that her injury was much more serious than originally reported the singer's fans rushed to social media to offer words of support and encouragement. Aside from a single photo she has remained out of public eye since the fall, which happened two days after the 2017 CMA Awards.

Career-wise, Underwood shared that she returned to the studio this month to begin work on her next studio album, expected in 2018. Her song "The Champion" was recorded last year and is being used for NBC's promotional coverage of the Super Bowl. It's not clear if this collaboration with Ludacris will make her next album, but radio has not embraced it.
