Carrie Underwood will spend the holiday break with family, friends and her new album. A report from her fan club forum reveals that the singer has finished recording vocals for the still untitled fourth album, and she’ll be listening to the finished cuts over Christmas.

MjsBigBlog.com reports that the 28-year-old is still unsure on when the album will be available to fans, and rumored released dates are just that — rumor. Underwood still needs to lay down one background vocal, but the project is in the hands of producer Mark Bright. Bright has worked on each of her previous three albums.

Underwood did a photo shoot last week that the fan club forum reports is for her single. It’s not known which song will wind up being her first offering to radio, but it’s reportedly been narrowed down to two, including one she had a hand in co-writing. Underwood had previously co-written ‘All American Girl’ from the ‘Carnival Ride’ album, ‘What Can I Say’ from ‘Play On,’ and ‘Eighteen Inches’ from Lauren Alaina‘s ‘Wildflower’ album.
