On Wednesday morning (March 1), Nashville-area residents found themselves taking cover as a string of bad weather, including tornadoes, hit the area. After the storm passed, Carrie Underwood was among those with property damage due to the storms.

“Woke up to tornado sirens and hail,” Underwood tweeted around 10:30AM ET on Wednesday. “Our chimney is currently in our driveway … tree limbs everywhere.”

A native Oklahoman, Underwood jokingly added, “Feels like home,” and hashtagged her tweet #Okie.

Neither Underwood nor her husband, NHL hockey player Mike Fisher, has yet to offer any further details about their home’s damage.

Nashville TV station WKRN reports that three tornadoes touched down in Middle Tennessee on Wednesday: one in Davidson County, which hit near Cane Ridge Park to the Four Corners Marina; one in Williamson County, just north of Franklin, Tenn.; and one in Watertown, Tenn. The storms were all classified as EF-1, which is the second level on the Enhanced Fujita tornado rating scale.

Following a busy 2016, during which she hit the road for her Storyteller Tour (and then extended the trek) and co-headlined a tour with Keith Urban in Australia and New Zealand, Underwood has admitted that she doesn’t really have a plan for her career in 2017.

“I think I’m gonna enjoy a little time with my family, and then start writing, maybe, and just seeing what I’m ready to do,” Underwood says. “There’s no real plans … Being home off the road, every time we go home for a little short 24-, 48-hour stint, I just drop stuff off and leave again. And now I’m trying to make sense of life.”
