Brownfield Shooting On July 4th Leaves One Man Dead

A man has been arrested in connection in the shooting by Brownfield Police.

Everythinglubbock.com has reported that 50-year-old Fernando F. Fernandez was arrested early Sunday Morning and charged with the murder of 37-year-old Christavian Jerrod Baker.

According to the report, officers arrived at the residence in the 500 block North 5th Street and Baker was already dead from a gunshot wound.

Assisting in the investigation is the Terry County District Attorney's Office and the Texas Rangers.
