Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have teamed up for a beautiful mashup of John Denver’s "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” in a promo for the 2016 CMA Awards.

The co-hosts stand back to back, alternating between singing Denver and Parton's hits with Paisley on guitar and Underwood's pristine vocals at the forefront.

At just a minute long, Paisley and Underwood impress in one of the first promotional clips for the upcoming awards show. The two country stars were also featured in "Forever Country" with 28 of their peers, each offering a line in a medley of Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” and Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”

A video for "Forever Country" was released last month and includes poignant moments from Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap and Parton. Travis, who was in attendance for the music video premiere in Nashville on Sept. 19, got a round of applause for his participation, while Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild thanked him for being a part of compilation.

“I can’t tell you what a treasure it is, Randy, to be in this piece with you. It means more than you’ll ever know,” Fairchild said. “It makes me very emotional and it makes me very proud … that [we] could honor the great icons of this format and take us into the next generation.”

This will be Paisley and Underwood's ninth time to host the CMA Awards, which air on Nov. 2 on ABC.
